The Bean Tones bring close-harmony singing, vintage vocal-jazz style, and an irrepressible sense of fun to Bay Chamber’s holiday concert. Founded at Berklee College of Music as a barbershop quartet, the Los Angeles–based group has evolved into a vocal jazz ensemble inspired by The Four Freshmen and The Hi-Lo’s, pairing polished four-part harmonies with instrumental color and contemporary personality. Their holiday repertoire draws on the warmth and swing of mid-century Christmas music while adding arrangements and original songs of their own. Expect familiar seasonal favorites, unexpected turns, and music that feels both nostalgic and freshly made.
“Sensational…. Their harmonies… are so tight as to make a person laugh out loud with glee.” BroadwayWorld
“The authenticity, the tonal color, the blend, the FUN!” Gary Lewis (three-time International Barbershop Quartet Champion)
