Devoted to performing music from the classical and contemporary repertoire while exploring and arranging music from around the world, Toomai String Quintet won the 92nd St. Y’s Music Unlocked! Competition.
Quartet for the End of Time
In a prisoner-of-war camp during the early days of World War II, the French composer Olivier Messiaen created his chamber music masterpiece Quatuor pour la fin du temps (Quartet for the End of Time). Rooted in his deeply Christian faith, it is inspired by the New Testament Book of Revelation.
A Well-Being Concert
Find musical mindfulness and self-care in a Well-Being Concert with inspiring cellist Joshua Roman. The concert is hosted by Sarah Elizabeth Charles, a self-care advocate, vocalist, and composer based in New York City.

Unruly Sun is a theatrical song cycle starring Grammy Award-winning tenor Karim Sulayman, featuring eighteen songs inspired by the late filmmaker Derek Jarman and his memoir Modern Nature.

Bach for Breakfast, Part 2 - A Concerto and a Cantata
Joining Jesse Blumberg for this special edition of the series are performer and scholar of historical music and performance practice, John McKean, “virtuosic” “dazzling" and “brilliant” oboist (The New York Times), James Austin Smith, musical omnivore and innovating teaching artist, bassoonist Brad Balliett, and our much loved resident ensemble, Palaver Strings for our ongoing exploration of Bach’s music.

Bay Chamber Jazz Ensemble on the Green
We’re delighted to open our Camden Village Green program this year with a FREE lunchtime performance by the Bay Chamber Jazz Ensemble featuring faculty, friends and students from Bay Chamber Music School; Annegien Zuidema on cello, Neal Yetman on guitar, Nathan Perkins on piano, Jeremiah Khan on saxophone, Liam Smith on bass, Mike Whitehead on drums.
